1. Global Rule

- The global rule is by default created whenever you create a new widget.
- You can go to any particular widget in any algorithm where you want to edit the rule.
- Start by clicking on the “Edit Rule” button.
- It will redirect you to the configure rules screen, and then follow the steps mentioned in our documentation on how to configure rules.

2. Home Page Rule
What is the Home Page Rule?
The Home Page Rule Type in Experro refers to a specific type of rule that allows customization of recommendations for the home page where the widget will be applied. This rule type enables you to modify the default behavior or content suggestions provided by a widget when it’s placed on the home page of a website.
Apply this rule when you want your users to have a good first impression of your website. The impression should be interesting and match your users' preferences and content strategy.

- To access the Rule Settings in Experro, go to the widget. Then, select "Add Rule" and choose the rule type as "Home.".

3. Product Rule
What is the Product Rule?
The product rule in Experro refers to a type of rule used to modify the default recommendations for one or more products. This rule allows you to pay for one or more products. This rule allows you to customize the recommendations displayed on product pages, tailoring them to specify preferences or criteria. Integrating the product rule type into Experro is straightforward:
- Access the rule configuration section in Experro’s admin panel.
- Select the product rule while creating the rule.
- It will redirect you to the configuring rule screen.
- Here, you have an additional option where you can display products by using the query builder without turning on merchandising.
- You can either search for the products or switch to the query builder by clicking on the “Switch to Query Builder” option, as seen in the above image.
- After switching to the query builder, you can define the complex queries to perfectly match your recommendation preferences by clicking on the Define query button you see on the screen
- After defining the query, hit the save button and see the output on the screen.
4. Category Rule
What is the category rule type?
A category page rule in Experro is a type of rule that allows you to customize the default recommendations for specific categories or collections of content on a website. This rule type is designed to tailor the displayed content or suggestions for users navigating through a particular category or collection page
