Setup Channel

Add Channel

To add a channel, log in to the Experro account and perform the following steps:

1. Go to the workspace.
2. Navigate to Settings > Channel Manager > Channels from the left sidebar.
3. The screen will display the default channel created with the English-United States language.
4. Additional languages can be added to the default channel from the channel settings screen to deliver content in multiple languages across a particular channel.
5. The screen will show listed channels if they were created previously, with the Default Channel being first if no other channels are added.
6. Click on the Add Channel button in the top right corner to create a new channel.

1. Define channel and language details on the channel settings screen:
1. Channel Name: Enter the channel name.
2. Channel Code: Enter the channel code.
3. Select Language: Choose a language from the drop-down menu (only shows languages added in internationalization).
4. Language Code: This appears by default based on the selected language.
5. Language URL Prefix: Enter a prefix to generate language URLs.
6. Language Label: Add a label visible to visitors, allowing them to switch between different languages on the website.

Note: One language can be set as the default if multiple languages are added. The default language cannot be removed.


After completing the details, click Save and return to the listing screen.

Edit Channel settings

To edit channel settings, log in to the Experro account and perform the following steps:

1. Go to the workspace.
2. Navigate to Settings > Channel Manager > Channels from the left sidebar.
3. The channel listing screen will display the created channels.

Hover over the language to edit, click the ellipsis icon, and select Channel Settings.

1. Update the channel and language settings on the channel settings screen.
2. The default language can also be changed.
3. After updating the details, click the Save button.

Delete Channel

To delete a channel, log in to the Experro account and perform the following steps:

1. Go to the workspace.
2. Navigate to Settings > Channel Manager > Channels from the left sidebar.
3. The channel listing screen will display the created channels.
4. Hover over the language to delete, click the ellipsis icon, and select Delete.

After selecting delete, a popup will appear prompting for confirmation of the deletion.

Note: The Default Channel cannot be deleted.
