Once a record is saved in a different language within Experro, it gains independence from both the master language and the fallback language. This allows for free modification of the data according to specific requirements. Each modification and save action increments the version count, creating a separate versioning system for each language record, facilitating easy comparison with earlier versions.
Note: Content Managers can access or create content in multiple languages only if those languages have been added to the stack by the Admin/Developer.
Version history is a record of changes made to content records over time, providing valuable insights into the evolution of content and improvements made with each save. It typically includes:
- Version number: Unique identifier for each version.
- Version name: Title of the version.
- Created by: User who created the version.
- Created on: Date and time of creation.
- Modified by: User who last modified the version.
- Modified on: Date and time of the last modification.
- Status: Status of the version in the specific environment (e.g., draft or published).
- Content: Details of changes made to the record contents.
Version history allows comparison of two versions on a single screen.
